Habbit Pro ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by BaruzoTech, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the following depending on your sign-in method:

  • Google Sign-In: Name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account
  • Apple Sign-In: Name and email address from your Apple ID (iOS only)
  • Guest Access: No personal information is collected; a temporary anonymous account is created via Firebase Authentication

Habit and Widget Data

  • Daily tracker configurations (title, description, emoji, color)
  • Habit tracking dates and completion history
  • Widget instance data (heatmap and calendar layouts)
  • Widget collection groupings

Device Information

We automatically collect:

  • Device identifiers, platform (iOS/Android), brand, and model
  • Operating system version and app version/build number
  • Screen dimensions and tablet detection
  • Timezone, locale, and country
  • Network connection type
  • Last active timestamp

Purchase and Subscription Data

  • Subscription type, billing cycle, and status
  • Credit balance and transaction history
  • Transaction identifiers from Google Play or Apple App Store

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable notifications, we collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver push notifications and real-time widget updates.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including habit tracking and home screen widgets
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Sync habit data across your devices and home screen widgets in real time
  • Send push notifications and reminders you have configured
  • Process subscriptions and credit-based transactions
  • Analyze app usage and crashes to improve reliability (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Respond to support requests

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect and process your data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management
  • Pusher: Real-time WebSocket communication for widget updates
  • Google Play / Apple App Store: Payment processing for subscriptions and purchases

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With the third-party service providers listed above, solely to operate the Service
  • With your explicit consent
  • To comply with legal obligations or court orders
  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users

6. Data Storage and Security

  • Authentication tokens are stored using encrypted secure storage (expo-secure-store)
  • Widget data on your device is stored in Android DataStore
  • All communication with our servers uses HTTPS encryption
  • Backend data is stored in MongoDB with appropriate access controls
  • Session tokens expire automatically and are refreshed securely

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, update, or delete your personal information
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Opt out of push notifications via device settings
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data (see our Data Deletion Policy)
  • Use the app as a guest without providing personal data

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and optionally sending a notification through the app.
